CDI Group are seeking an experienced AV Sales professional to work within CDI AVSYS our Audio Visual company. The right candidate must have experience in the world of Audio Visual Custom Design & Installations.

The position will see you being an integral member of the CDI Group of companies working as an interface between CDI Group Sales and Projects Teams and CDI AVSYS assisting with our customers AV requirements. You will also be responsible for bringing new clients & opportunities adding to our portfolio of clients.

Your experience will come from the world of high end AV systems integration, where you have previously worked on bespoke projects. You must be used to working alongside end users, designers, architects, M&E companies and building contractors. You will have either been an AV designer, audio visual project manager, AV technical sales engineer, AV project engineer or pre-sales engineer.

Your responsibility will be taking a specification or clients vision and designing the project producing a quotation along with technical installation drawings. You will be responsible for the on site coordinating of the AV design to ensure the solution proposed will work.

The position will require you have an eye for detail and bring a thorough technical knowhow to the project.

A background of systems design (AutoCAD) would be preferred so you can talk through the design process with the end client and within the team environment.

You will need experience in some of the following:

• AMX, Crestron, Kramer, Lutron,
• Home networking (Cisco, Apple, Microsoft)
• Rack build, 1st, 2nd and 3rd fix
• Cable / connector knowledge
• Switching Crestron Digital Media
• Audio Video signal processing,
• Tenders response documentation
• AV Design
