Equal Opportunities


It is the policy of CDI Group Limited to comply at all times with our statutory obligations under the Equality Act 2010, Sex Discrimination Act 1975, the Equal pay Act 1995 (as amended 2004), Disability Discrimination Act 1995, Race Relations Act 1976 (as amended 2000), the Employment Equality (Sexuality) Regulations 2003, the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003 and other European Union Employment Directives, such as that covering age.

We will not practice discrimination either directly or indirectly on the grounds of colour, race and nationality, ethnic or national origin in relation to decisions to recruit, select, remunerate, train, transfer and promote employees or subcontractors.

The Managing Director is ultimately responsible for ensuring that this policy is effective.

The Operations Manager has executive responsibility for identifying and disciplining any one who is responsible for breaches of this policy.

All employees and subcontractors are responsible for notifying the Operations Manager of any breaches of this policy they are aware of in the workplace.

This policy covers employees, subcontractors and all other third parties who may be visiting or working on CDI Group premises, or working away from CDI Group premises on behalf of CDI Group.

The policy will be amended as appropriate to meet the demands of future legislation and CDI will meet all statutory obligations under relevant legislation and, where appropriate, anticipate future legal requirements signalled under EU Directives.

CDI Group will promote an inclusive culture, good practice in teaching, learning, and assessment, and good management practice, through the development of codes of best practice, policies, and training, taking positive action wherever possible to support this policy and its aims.
